Hello, I’m Stacey — a lifelong dog lover based in Northwich. You’ll often see me out and about with my five chihuahuas, who inspired my journey into pet grooming. After a period of illness, I realised life is too short not to do what you love, so I trained to create a calm, caring space at LavaPaws where every dog is treated with patience, kindness, and understanding. 🐾💛
Working from my home grooming pod, I offer gentle, one-to-one grooming where comfort always comes before vanity. I am fully qualified, insured, and first aid trained, so you can feel confident your furbaby is in safe, loving hands.
I’m also proud to work alongside many charities and rescues, and as a proud doggo foster mum, I have a special place in my heart for dogs who need a little extra love, time, and reassurance. Every dog that walks through my door is treated like part of the family. 🐶✨

Lavapaws – One-to-One Home Grooming Service
These Terms & Conditions are in place to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all dogs in my care, while also protecting the smooth running of my one-to-one grooming service. By booking an appointment, you agree to the policies outlined below.
1. Appointments and Bookings
Booking Guidelines
Clients are kindly asked to book appointments at least four weeks in advance where possible to help manage my diary effectively.
Appointments can be booked via:
I aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours, except during holidays, events, or exceptional circumstances.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that unexpected situations may arise, and I will always try to be as flexible as possible.
However, as a small business, late cancellations have a direct financial impact, as the appointment time is often unable to be refilled at short notice.

Drop-off Policy
Arriving late reduces the available grooming time and may affect the quality or completeness of the groom.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel the appointment. In this case, a fee of 75% of the groom price will apply, and must be paid before rebooking.
Collection Policy
Please collect your dog at the agreed time to ensure smooth running of appointments and the safety of all dogs in my care.
2. Health and Safety
Flea Policy
If you discover fleas on your dog before an appointment, please contact me immediately and do not attend the appointment.
If fleas are discovered during grooming:
This is essential to protect all dogs and maintain a flea-free environment.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is up to date with flea prevention treatment.
Matting (Dematting policy)
If a dog is severely matted, grooming may cause discomfort or risk to their welfare.

Pre-Existing Conditions
Owners must disclose any relevant medical conditions, sensitivities, or recent changes in health or behaviour prior to grooming.

Emergency Veterinary Authorisation
In the unlikely event of a medical emergency during grooming:

3. Behaviour & Handling
Aggressive or Stress Behaviour
The safety of all dogs and myself is my highest priority.
Please be honest about any known behavioural issues, including previous grooming experiences.
Aggressive behaviour includes (but is not limited to):
Growling, snapping, biting, lunging, or extreme resistance to handling.
My decision regarding the suitability of a dog for grooming is final.
Toilet Break Policy
Please ensure your dog has had a toilet break before arrival.
